摘要 PURPOSE: An engine rpm controlling device for an excavator is provided to maintain the excavator in an optimum air turbulence state by automatically flowing a current to a fuel controlling actuator to maintain an engine rpm to a predetermined value for a set time period, and prevent the noise or fail due to a high speed rotation without sufficient preheating of the engine. CONSTITUTION: An engine rpm controlling device for an excavator includes an rpm instruction dial part(10), an ignition switch(11), a controller(21), a fuel controlling actuator, an engine(40) and a fuel controlling lever(41), wherein if a predetermined starting signal is input to the controller as the ignition switch is turned on, the controller automatically flows a current for maintaining an engine rpm to a predetermined value to the fuel controlling actuator regardless of an output voltage of the dial part. If the current flows to the fuel controlling actuator more than a set time period, a current corresponding to the output voltage of the dial part is applied to the fuel controlling actuator, changing the engine rpm. The engine rpm is also changed in response to the change of the position of a dial of the dial part.
