PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for forming female screws on a die casting material are provided which directly form female screws on the die casting material during die casting without any separate mechanical cutting. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a fixing part (1) and an operating part (2) forming a cylindrical cavity (3) inside thereof as they reciprocally form a frame or open the frame; a female screw forming slide core (4) which is slidingly installed perpendicular to the fixing part, and on the front surface of which a screw part is formed so that female screws are partially formed on the inner surface of a die casting material which is formed by the cylindrical cavity (3). The method comprises the steps of forming a cylindrical cavity inside thereof by reciprocally frame forming a fixing part (1) and an operating part (2); inserting a female screw forming slide core (4) into the fixing part in a direction of perpendicular to the fixing part so that the screw part of the front surface thereof consists of the part of the inner surface of the cylindrical cavity; infusing a die casting material into the cylindrical cavity formed by the fixing part and the operating part in a high pressure, and then cooling the die casting material infused cavity; and discharging a die casting material by separating the female screw forming slide core and frame opening the fixing part and the operating part.
