PURPOSE: A standing wave prevention device for a vehicle is provided to prevent an accident by driving a safety device when the temperature and the pressure of a tire and traveling velocity calculated in a proper algorithm are over a standing wave generating value. CONSTITUTION: A standing wave prevention device in a vehicle contains a sensor(100) detecting the velocity of a traveling vehicle and the temperature and the pressure of a tire; an operating device(300) operating a standing wave possible value; an ECU(electronic control unit)(200) comparing a value from the operating device with a reference value; and a safety device(400) decelerating a vehicle to prevent a standing wave phenomenon and warning a driver of the standing wave phenomenon. The ECU transmits a control signal to an actuator(410) when the value from the operating device is over the reference value, for reducing the opening degree of a throttle valve(411). At the same time, the ECU transmits an operating signal to a speaker(420) and an alarm lamp(430) to warn the driver.
