PURPOSE: Lubricating method and structure for an input shaft in a transmission are provided to reduce an air pocket while increasing supplied amount of lubricating oil through installing an oil dam at a lubricating oil supplying hole. CONSTITUTION: Oil dams(20) are formed at rear portions of lubricating oil flowing directions of each lubricating oil supplying hole(14) for blocking flow of lubricating oil. Thus, the lubricating oil is flowed to the lubricating oil supplying holes from the rear portions of the lubricating oil flowing directions. Plural dam members(24) are arranged while integrating the dam members with connect members(22). A sealing member(26) is formed at an end of the connect member. Therefore, the dam members are inserted a lubricating oil channel(15) of an input shaft(10) for corresponding to the lubricating oil supplying holes formed on the input shaft.
