PURPOSE: A method for aging a plasma display panel is provided to reduce aging time and to prevent panel breakage and circuit damage by doing an aging section and a dead time section(non-aging section) by turns. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of the first sustain electrode and the second sustain electrode aligned between the first sustain electrode alternatively are included in a plasma display panel. The first sustain electrodes and the second sustain electrodes are contacted separately in common. An alternative current aging pulse is licensed to the first sustain electrodes and the second sustain electrodes. An aging period licenses at least more than two of the aging pulse in the aging pulse license stage and a pause period does not license the aging pulse. The pause period is longer than the aging period in the alternative current plasma display channel aging method.
