The hinged joint for an infant cot frame has two side plates (11,12) connected by a curved section (13). A locking plate (2) slides in the joint. Support cams (3) pivot on the joint and mesh with a projection (32) with a groove on the support block which is spring biased downwardly. Two support rods pivot on the main joint and each contact a curved section of a cam.
