PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of transferring information such as image data to a required directory out of the directory structure of a host information processor without allowing the host information processor to execute operation. SOLUTION: In the information processor, a directory information management means 250 in a 1st device 200 acquires directory information stored in a storage means 302 managed by a file system in a 2nd device 300 and manages it and a display means 260 displays the directory information managed by the means 250. A user specifies a directory to be transferred to the storage means 320 in the 2nd device 300.
