PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment changing incoming call tones in accordance with user's tastes, a dial-in number, a caller's number, etc. SOLUTION: The operator of facsimile equipment designates music information made to output as an incoming tone in music information stored in music media set to a music media reproducing part by an operation display part, and the facsimile equipment stores the track number of the selected music information in a system memory as reproduction information data. When an incoming call comes from a line, the facsimile equipment performs facsimile reception through a normal facsimile control procedure, and when the facsimile reception is finished, the facsimile equipment reads the reproduction information data of the system memory and issues the reproduction command of a music number designated by the reproduction information data of the music media on the reproduction information data. The music media reproducing part reproduces the music information of the designated music number of the music media based on the issue (steps S101 to S103).
