<p>A device and method for controlling construction machinery capable of improving the controllability of a swing priority mode switch and reducing a loss of engine output so as to improve a fuel efficiency by eliminating the need to operate the swing priority mode switch in a so-called side wall cutting operation, the device comprising hydraulic pumps (51, 52) which are driven by an engine and deliver hydraulic oil contained in a tank, a swing priority judgment means (2) which judges whether a supply of hydraulic oil to a swing side is given a top priority or not, and a pump tilt-rotating angle control means (3) which controls the tilt-rotating angles of the hydraulic pumps (51, 52) so as to regulate their pump delivery flow rates, wherein, when it is judged by the swing priority judgment means (2) that a swing should be given a top priority, the tilt-rotating angles of the hydraulic pumps (51, 52) are controlled by the pump tilt-rotating angle control means (3) so that their pump delivery flow rates can be reduced.</p> |
