PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which enables high-density recording. SOLUTION: When grooves are formed on a magneto-optical disk, the groups Gd and groups Gt adjacent to each other in a radial direction are so formed as to vary in depth or the width in a radial direction or to vary in both of the depth and the width in the radial direction. The optical recording medium is formed in the manner described above, by which the embodiment of the optical recording medium of a track pitch narrower than the cut-off of the optical system of a device utilizing the optical recording medium of a reproducing device, etc., is made possible. |
