The electrical lighting system is such that the lighting units are suspended on hangers from such as a steel reinforced concrete ceiling (24). The lighting bulbs (30,31) are set into a reflector (20). The ceiling is such that sound is reflected from the surface and is directed onto the outer surface of the lighting unit and this is covered by a foil (21) that reflects light and absorbs sound. The lighting unit can also be constructed with a cover plate that also absorbs sound. |
