PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reactivity of ion-exchange resin which removes copper ion contained in absorbing liquid. SOLUTION: When an absorption refrigerating machine 1 stops, absorbing liquid 32 containing absorbent which absorbs refrigerant and the steam of this refrigerant is passed through a filter cartridge 28 in which ion-exchange resin containing a sulfonic acid group as an exchange group is filled to remove the copper ion in this absorbing liquid 32. The absorbing liquid 33 which has removed the copper ion is accumulated in a container 29. The regenerated absorbing liquid 33 is returned to the absorption refrigerating machine 1.
