PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which ensures a sufficiently wide range of electrification of a photoreceptor with an electrifier in high-speed printing, does not lower image characteristics even when high-speed printing is repeated and gives a stable image over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The image forming device has an organic photosensitive drum 9 with a photosensitive layer formed by successively laminating an electric charge generating layer 3, a 1st electric charge transferring layer 4 and a 2nd electric charge transferring layer 5 on an electrically conductive substrate 1 in such a way that the durability and wear resistance of the 2nd electric charge transferring layer 5 are made higher than those of the 1st electric charge transferring layer 4 and an electrifier 7 with grids 8 disposed along the curvature of the peripheral surface of the 2nd electric charge transferring layer at regular intervals in such a way that the grids confront the peripheral surface of the 2nd electric charge transferring layer. The surface of the photoreceptor 9 is electrified with the electrifier 7.
