PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color converter that converts a color hard to see at printing into a color easy to see at printing and prints out the converted data because a prominently bright color becomes not prominent in printed state because of a black background color in image data resulting from less difference in the lightness between the bright color and the background white color of a print paper, and to obtain a printer using the color converter and a print method. SOLUTION: A color conversion processing means 5 applies color conversion processing to image data 1, a printer driver 4 is used to apply dithering processing to the converted data and a printer 3 prints out the resulting data. Furthermore, a print image data file storage means 7 stores image data 6 subjected to a color conversion processing as required.
