PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in strokes of thermal oscillation of a rotor by furthermore cooling by a subcooler a part of a cooling medium cooled by a main cooler. SOLUTION: In this turbine generator, a cooling medium cooled by a main cooler 12a circulates toward the intake side of a fan 10 during cooling a ventilation flue 26 by the rotation of the fan 10, and it is branched on the exhaust side into a ventilation flue 28 side and a ventilation flue 29 side. The cooling medium branched to the ventilation flue 29 side circulates toward the main cooler 12a, and the cooling medium branched to the ventilation flue 28 side circulates toward a ventilation flue 33, is cooled by a subcooler 13a in the middle, joins to a cooling medium which flows from the ventilation flue 29 side, and circulates toward the main cooler 12a. Additionally, the cooling medium cooled by a main cooler 12b also circulates symmetrically. Consequently, it is possible to level the axial distribution of temperature rise in an air gap 5 comprising the ventilation flue 29 and a ventilation flue 32, and to suppress increase of the stroke of heat vibration of the rotor caused by uneven axial heat elongation of the rotor. |
