The invention relates to a facing panel of composite material usable in buildings for making a facade covering, such a revetment, when fixed on an existing support or a cladding, when comprising an outer panel made of rot-proof washable moulded polyester, polymerised at high pressure, which is the visible side of the facing panel, an insulating panel made of expanded polystyrene which is bound behind the outer panel, comprising some joining means in a recessed area of the upper edge, said joining means consisting of a notch wherein a dowel is joined, located at the edge of the facing panel, said joining means ensuring a good flatness of a covering and reducing the faults in the support, some fixing means invisible through the facing panel, without rail or hook, located at the upper edge of the outer panel in the recessed area, which became invisible due to mounting the adjacent facing panel, the insulating panels of each facing panel being drawn near head-to-head without assembling which, in order to ensure a very good waterproofing and protection against rain water collected on the outer facing or against condensing water on the inner facing, comprises draining means, consisting of a network of notches located on inner facing of the outer panel, and permitting the evacuation of condensing and surface leakage water.
