The invention relates to a device meant for exotic fish exhibitions as well as for the amateur aquarists to feed the aquarium fish automatically. The device comprises a cylindrical housing (5) closed at both ends with covers (7) having bearings (8), wherein a compartmented rotor (4) located coaxially in the cylindrical housing (5) rotates. The compartmented rotor (4) rotates intermittently, being engaged by a step-by-step motor (1), through a pinion (2) and a gear (3). The cylindrical housing (5) is provided with an upper slot (c) placed under a feeding hopper (9), wherethrough the food is discharged into the compartments (b) of the compartmented rotor (4), a diametrically opposed lower slot (d) being provided for the discharge of the food into the aquarium.
