PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic conductive film and a manufacture thereof suppressing a conductive passage not making an electric connection from contacting portions other than an electrode of a semiconductor device and/or portions other than a circuit of a circuit board. SOLUTION: In an anisotropic conductive film 1 with a plurality of mutually insulated conductive passage 3 and 4 arranged in an insulating film 2 in a state exposing both end parts thereof from front and back surfaces of the insulating film 2 and penetrating the insulating film 2 in a thickness direction, of the plurality of conductive passages 3 and 4, the end part on at least one side of the conductive passage 3 in a position contactable with an electrode 12 of a semiconductor device 11 and a circuit 14 of a circuit board 13 is made to protrude more than the end part on the same side of the conductive passage 4 in a position not contactable with the electrode 12 of the semiconductor device 11 and the circuit 14 of the circuit board 13.
