PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-voltage power supply which simplifies a circuit and which can be made low-cost by a method, wherein high-breakdown strength optical elements are used and the high-breakdown strength optical elements are feedback-controlled, respectively independently from one high-voltage output. SOLUTION: This high-voltage power supply of an image forming apparatus using an electrophotographic process uses high-breakdown strength optical elements 100a to 100d where high-breakdown strength transistors 401, high- breakdown strength transistors 402, light emitting diodes 404, photodiodes which photoelectrically convert the light of the light emitting diodes 404 and control circuits 403 which control the transistors 401, 402 are constituted integrally. Then, the high-breakdown strength optical elements 100a to 100d are feedback- controlled, respectively independently by control means 101a, 102a, 103a to 101d, 102d, 103d from one transformer 112, so that a plurality of different voltages HVK, HVC, HVM, HVY are output. |
