PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of removing reverse electrostatically charged toners unnecessary for printing in a toner tank and its cleaning method. SOLUTION: A developing roller voltage control means 28 of this printer controls the voltage to be impressed to a developing roller 20 and adheres the reverse electrostatically charged toners 19b from the toner tank 18 via the developing roller 20 to a photoreceptor drum 11. An electrostatic charging roller voltage control means 30 controls the voltage to be impressed to a electrostatic charging roller 12 and once adheres and accumulates the reverse electrostatically charged toners 19b adhered to the photoreceptor drum 11 to the electrostatic charging roller 12 from the photoreceptor drum 11 and thereafter, readhers the accumulated reverse electrostatically charged toners 19b from the electrostatic charging roller 12 to the photoreceptor drum 11. A transfer roller voltage control means 29 controls the voltage to be impressed to a transfer roller 16 and adheres the reverse electrostatically charged toners 19b readhered to the photoreceptor drum 11 from the photoreceptor drum 11 to printing paper 15. |
