<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extended substrate attaching and detaching mechanism for removing an extended substrate while a cable is mounted without making it necessary to move the device in order to ensure an area for work at the time of extending an extended substrate, and for preventing the decrease of a cooling effect on the extended substrate. SOLUTION: This is an extended substrate attaching and detaching mechanism for attaching and detaching an extended substrate 1 through an extended slot 22 opened to a face 2a of a case body and a linking connector formed on a mother board incorporated at the other face side adjacent to one face 2a of the case body on the mother board. This extended substrate attaching and detaching mechanism is provided with a guide means (16A or the like) for inserting and pulling out the extended substrate 1 through an extended slot 22 in the case body, a positioning means 18 for positioning the extended substrate 1 at a prescribed position in the case body, and slide moving means 14 and 19 for allowing the extended substrate 1 to slide between the prescribed position in the case body and the linking connector.</p> |
