PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance contents generating efficiency by means of a multimedia hypermedia information coding experts MHEG authoring tool. SOLUTION: The MHEG authoring tool defines a component module not defined by the MHEG standards to generate the component module and to edit the component module (the edited component module is used for, e.g. a scene edit). Furthermore, public/secret is set to each information of each object of the component modules and in the case of utilizing (editing) the component module, only the information to which the public is set can be revised.
