DIGITAL MOVING PICTURE VIEWING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital moving picture viewing system that can reproduce data even when the combination method of the data at an encoder side differs from the combination method of the data assumed by a decoder side. SOLUTION: An encoder 100 generates MPEG data. A demultiplexer means 301 of a data re-configuration means 300 demultiplexes the MPEG data generated by the encoder 100 into elementary data and a video elementary stream storage means 302 and an audio elementary stream storage means 303 store the elementary data. A multiplexer means 309 combines the stored elementary data according to a prescribed data form matching the decoder 200 and reconfigures the combined data as MPEG data and provides an output of the data to the decoder 200.
