<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner enhanced in imaging characteristics and durability and sharp in particle diameter distribution by uniformly and firmly fixing fine particles to the surfaces of resin particles as the core particles of the toner particles and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This toner is formed by dispersing the toner particles having the fine particles uniformly fixed to the surfaces of the resin particles to be used as the cores of the toner particles into an aqueous medium and then, regulating a temperature in the range from the glass transition point Tg to Tg+<=50 deg.C of the fine resin particles in order to enhance their fixation strength, while applying shearing forces to them, or applying irradiation with ultrasonic waves, or while applying irradiation with ultrasonic waves while applying shearing force to them.</p> |
