PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that has a plurality of radio cells (cordless telephone systems). SOLUTION: Base stations BS1...BS6 are provided in radio cells CTS1...CTS6 to adjust communication TC connection between the base station BS1 of the radio cell CTS1 and a radio telephone set 2 placed in the radio cell CTS1. The base stations BS1...BS6 of the TC system 1 are connected to a central exchange station PABX and the radio telephone set 2 receives system control information before hand-off to other radio cell CTS2 for the exchange of the system control information so that the radio telephone set 2 is moved from the radio cell CTS1 to other radio CTS2 of the TC system 1 in the possible shortest time.
