PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which has a larger zooming ratio than usual and consists of a small number of lens elements and has various aberrations excellently corrected. SOLUTION: This zoom lens comprises a 1st lens group GR1 consisting of a cemented lens of a 1st concave meniscus lens L1 which is convex to the object side and a 2nd convex lens L2, and a 3rd convex meniscus lens L3 which is convex to the object side in order from the object side, a 2nd lens group GR2 consisting of a cemented lens of a 4th concave meniscus lens L4 which is convex to the object side, a 5th biconcave lens L5, and a 6th convex lens L6 in order from the object side, a 3rd lens group GR3 consisting of a 7th convex lens L7 which is convex to the object side, and a 4th lens group GR4 consisting of a cemented lens of an 8th convex lens L8 which is convex to the object side, a 9th concave lens L9, and a 10th convex lens L10 in order from the object side, and the 3rd lens group and 4th lens include at least one aspherical surface respectively.
