PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a batch oven that can save power and can rapidly decrease temperature by equipping a switching damper for controlling the switching of a bypass passing through a watercooling type fin cooler and that of a partial route to be bypassed. SOLUTION: A part that is lower than a partition 13 in an oven body 1 accommodates an object 3 to be heated, and is a heating chamber H for heating the object 3. On the other hand, a heater 2, a fan 4, a watercooling type fin cooler 5, a switching damper 6, and the like are provided at a part above the partition 13. While the switching damper 6 is closed, a cooling chamber 11 is closed by a cover 10 and the switching damper 6. Gas can be circulated through a route 12 and cannot be circulated while the switching damper 6 is fully open to the side of the route 12. More specifically, the watercooling type fin cooler 5 is arranged while the route 12 is bypassed. Also, the switching damper 6 controls the switching of a bypass passing through the watercooling type fin cooler 5 and that of the route 12 to be bypassed.
