PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability electric double-layer capacitor which is widely used for various kinds of electric devices, for regenerative power of electric vehicles and for storage of power. SOLUTION: By impregnating a collector 3 constituting the electric double- layer capacitor with water, winding it into a specified shape in a softened state, and drying the collector 3 after winding, defects such as cracks or peeling off at the time of winding can be prevented even if the thickness of the collector 3 is increased and its cost of manufacture can also be reduced. Also, by using a waterproof separator 16 at that time, the yield of products is improved. |
