PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a frequency, volume or the like of a preset broadcasting station and to inexpensively provide a small-sized device by dividing a frequency range which can be received by a receiver into multiple frequency ranges corresponding to the number of display bars or dots, driving the display bar or dots and displaying them. SOLUTION: This device has a display part which is a long and narrow rectangular shape and, for example, ten display bars (32a to 32j) which are orthogonal to the longitudinal direction and arranged along a center of the display part. A reception frequency range is divided equally by the number of the display bars 32 and allocated to each of the display bard 32a to 32j. Also, character of, for example, 'VOL' 33 for indicating volume, 'Freq.' 34 for indicating a reception frequency and 'Preset' 35 for indicating a preset frequency are formed along the lower side of a display device. Then, by selection of a display mode, any characters of the 'VOL' 33, 'Freq.' 34 and 'Preset' 35 are selectively displayed. Therefore, it is possible to display the frequency, the volume or the like of a preset broadcasting station as well.
