Pairs of vertically oriented frame members (30) are attached to a column or pole (14) by a supporting bracket mechanism (32), or directly on a utility structure, such as a gasoline pump. Semicircular panel members (20) are positioned between adjacent frame members (30) and/or around a pole or column (14). With column and pole cladding systems, top cap members (180) can be provided adjacent canopy or ceiling structures to allow for thermal expansion and contraction. The panel members (20) are shipped and packaged in flat condition and bent into their final semicircular shapes at the installation site. Retainer clip members (70), tab members or pin members (270) are attached to the edges of the panel members (20) in order to hold them securely in place in the frame members (30). Trim cap members can be provided to cover the frame members and secure the edges of the panels (20) securely in place in the frame member (30). A universal supporting bracket system can be utilized to attach the cladding system to various poles or columns. |
