<p>Continuous production facilities for producing mechanical-structure carbon steel or alloy steel wires excellent in cold working features, which can easily realize a control rolling conventionally considered difficult with a block mill, and enables an efficient control rolling and slow cooling by effectively combining in-line the control rolling facility with a slow cooling facility, the facilities comprising, all connected continuously and sequentially, a hot rolling mill for wires, a winding device for winding rolled wires and forming them into rings, a bundling device for bundling wound wires into coils, and an inline heat treating furnace for slowly cooling the bundled, coiled wires, and using, as a final finishing mill of the hot rolling mill, a block mill preferably having a reduction of area of 25 to 60% and up to four roll stands.</p> |
