<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electro-optic device in which the peripheral region not directly contributing to the display can be decreased by using a new type semiconductor device. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal device 10 and on the end part of a first substrate 1, spherical semiconductors 11 are mounted as dispersed on a wiring pattern 19 for mounting ICs which is extended from an input terminal 12 where a flexible substrate 29 is connected to a sealing region 4 of a liquid crystal. The spherical semiconductor 11 has semiconductor elements formed on the surface of a spherical semiconductor material and it has high surface area/ volume efficiency.</p> |
