PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic camera and print system where operations for print designation and entry by remote control are facilitated and transmission of data can easily be realized. SOLUTION: The electronic camera and print system is provided with an electronic camera 101 and a printer 400. The electronic camera has an image pickup means that picks up an image to obtain image data, a transmission means that transmits data or information, and a control means that generates remote control information, the transmission means transmits the remote control information received from the control means and the printer prints the data by receiving the remote control information sent from the transmission means.
