PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and easily increase the number of divisions of an existing electric wire drum and apply an electric wire drum divided into two or three or so for large-scale transmission lines to small-scale transmission lines, in such a manner that even an unoccupied portion of the electric wire drum is minimized. SOLUTION: A first electric wire 1a is wound regular over a first block. A plurality of partitioning members 33 for multilayer winding are placed on the first regularly wound layer of the first electric wire 1a in the circumferential direction. The portion close to a split wire 2a, including a compressive anchor clamp 4a' at the trailing end of the first electric wire 1a and a compressive anchor clamp 4b at the leading end of the second electric wire 1b is reeled inside the partitioning members 33 for multilayer winding. The second electric wire 1b is wound over the regularly wound layer of the first electric wire 1a outside the partitioning members 33 for multilayer winding. Thus two layers can be wound in one block on the electric wire drum, and additional threads can be further wound on an existing electric wire drum. Owing to the partitioning members 33 for multilayer winding, the number of divisions of the existing electric wire drum can be readily substantially increased at a low cost.
