PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a convenient blast dryer for drying clothes speedily and sequentially downward by blowing air downward from an air outlet. SOLUTION: When a fan 3 and a heating means 4 are driven, air sucked by the fan 3 is regulated by an air flow direction altering plate 7 to flow uniformly through an air duct. It is then warmed by a heating means 2 and fed to the side interconnected in series with a delivery side hollow support 1 before being blown downward from the air outlet 2a thereof. In order to blow the air uniformly from the air outlet 2a, opening area of the air outlet 2a is decreased gradually toward the downstream side of air flow, cross-sectional area of air duct of the delivery side hollow support 2 is decreased gradually toward the downstream side of air flow, or resistance of the duct for passing air is increased gradually toward the downstream side. Since the air blowing velocity is made uniform, the air is blown substantially uniformly from the air outlet.
