摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and speed up the input operation of a telephone number by allocating a communication destination to a slave machine selection key when a master machine is set to a telephone book mode with the depression of an operation key. SOLUTION: The communication destination of an opposite party who frequently communicates is allocated to a slave machine selection key 40 which is conventionally used for extension calling for a slave machine. It is necessary to set a master machine to a telephone book mode for allocating the communication destination different from a telephone book function to the slave machine selection key 40. For this purpose, the left side of a function key 50 is depressed and the telephone book mode is set in allocation. When the telephone book mode is set in registration, the slave machine selection key 40 can register the communication destination. When the telephone book mode is set to selection, the slave machine selection key 40 can select the communication destination.
