PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an attitude angle detector of which working place and environmental limitations can be relaxed and which can be widely used by constituting the attitude angle detector of a unit for operating an attitude angle to be outputted from the operation results of a motion angle operating unit and a stationary angle operating unit, and making a dead band processor process a dead band based on the mean output of gyros. SOLUTION: The attitude angle detector comprises a motion angle detecting means 11 including a dead band processor 15 for processing the outputs from three gyros 12a-12c and a motion angle operating unit 18 for operating a temporary attitude angle based on the outputs from the processor 15, and stationary angle detecting means 21 including a unit 24 for operating stationary angle based on the outputs from two geomagnetism sensors 22a, 22b and acceleration sensors 23a, 23b. The processor 15 performs a dead band processing of the output form the gyros in order to eliminate a stationary blur due to a signal noise or an unnecessary output of movement of hand. Since the dead band processing is carried out using a mean value, unnecessary output level is lowered apparently and thereby the reference value is decreased. When dead band processing is carried out using a mean value, stationary blur is eliminated and low speed rotation can be followed up.
