PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a bidirectional direct-current/direct-current converter, capable of regenerating energy by providing an inductance between the junction of a first FET and a second FET which form a first series circuit parallel to a DC power source, and between the junction of a third FET and a fourth FET which form a second series circuit parallel to a load. SOLUTION: Between a battery 1 and a load 3 with which a capacitor 4 is connected in parallel, a direct-current/direct-current converter 2 is provided. In parallel with the battery 1, a first series circuit consisting of an FET Q1 and an FET Q2 is connected, and in parallel with the load 3, a second series circuit consisting of an FET Q3 and an FET Q4 is connected. Then, a coil L is arranged between the junction of the FET Q1 with the FET Q2 and the junction of the FET Q3 with the FET Q4. Energy regeneration becomes feasible by outputting signalsϕ1,ϕ2 from a control means to the gate of each FETs Q1-Q4 with a prescribed period, and controlling the current flowing in the coil L through time sharing.
