<p>The invention disclosed a crystallized glass for the substrate of recording media and its molding process. The glass was made by adding halides, oxides of the transition metals and oxides of the rate earth elements into the existing glass raw materials and using the existing glass making processes and laser texture treatments. The invention can reduce the melting temperature of the glass, easy to melt and eliminate bubble stripes, meet the need of high density recording. The invention will not contaminate the recording membrane and have an excellent chemical durability. The microcrystal structure of the glass is homogeneous, compact, superfine and not anisotropic. The invention can be used in various high temperature melts, therefore to reduce the melting temperature of the glass.</p> |
