The light conductor coupling device has a ferrule (2) for reception of the end of the light conductor (1), mounted in a support block for adjustment relative to a base body (4) incorporating the optical element (3). The support block is provided by an angle element with its perpendicular arms (51,52) respective abutting the end face (41) of the base body and provided with a reception groove for locating the ferrule, which is secured by a cooperating clamp plate (6). An Independent claim for a method for adjustment of an optical fibre light conductor relative to an optical element is also included.
