<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily locate a corrosion spot on the inner surface of a conduit by a method wherein a means which detects a deformation in the radial direction is provided at a pig which can pass the inside of the conduit. SOLUTION: A corrosion spot in a conduit 10 is specified in such a way that, e.g. a pig 13 is inserted into the conduit 10 from a pumping place so as to pass the inside of the conduit 10 by flowing water. At this time, the wafer feed amount of a pump is measured continuously. Then, the water feed amount of the pump up to the time in which the corrosion place is recorded on a data logger from the time in which the pig 13 is discharged in the pumping place is integrated. The water feed amount is divided by the cross section of the conduit 10. Thereby, the distance of the conduit up to a corrosion generation spot from pumping place can be found, and the corrosion generation place can be located.</p> |
