PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for an electrostatic latent image developer which imparts positive chargeability to toner particles and has high durability and to provide an electrostatic latent image developer. SOLUTION: The carrier is obtained by coating with a graft copolymer obtained by polymerizing a fluorine-containing resin (A) having reactive carbon- carbon double bonds and an unsaturated monomer (B) having a reactive carbon- carbon double bond at one terminal. The electrostatic latent image developer contains the carrier and a toner. The carrier and the developer impart positive chargeability to the toner, have high durability and give a good copied image free from fog.
