摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a component formed in one unit by housing at least one magnetic detecting means and at least one optical detecting means in the same package so as to be adjacent each other on at least one surface. SOLUTION: An optical.magnetic sensor 11 is formed by arranging a magnetic resistance sensor (a magnetic detecting means) 12 and a photo sensor (an optical detecting means) 15 on the same surface 18A and housing in the same package 18 made of synthetic resin for example. Installation space is saved compared with individual installation of the magnetic resistance sensor 12 and the photo sensor 15, man-hour required for work of a fixing part, adjustment of fixing position, and connection is remarkably decreased. Since a power source wire and grounding wire are commonly used in wiring, the number of connectors and connecting error can be reduced. Preferably, a gap for passing a detecting material is formed between the magnetic resistance sensor 12 installing surface and the photo sensor 15 installing surface in a package, and a guide for regulating the separating distance between the detecting material and the magnetic resistance sensor 12, and between the detecting material and the photo sensor 15 is installed.</p>
