PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of generating high quality magnified and reduced image data. SOLUTION: In this image processor, (n) pieces of dots and images data of (m) pieces of lines composed of the (n) pieces of dots are successively inputted and outputted as YUV data, the data is subjected to writing or reading to/from a memory 6, a contour extraction flag is written to the memory by performing vertical contour extraction and vertical filtering while read data and a plurality of optional vertical thresholds inputted from the outside are defined as inputs, thinning and interpolation processing is performed from vertical magnification and reduction rates inputted from the outside with the data as an input, the vertically thinned and interpolated data and the plurality of optional horizontal thresholds inputted from the outside are inputted, horizontal contour extraction and horizontal filter processing are performed, thinning and interpolation processing is performed from horizontal magnification and reduction rates inputted from the outside with the data as an input, and the data is outputted as an input to a display device. |
