PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate engine rotation for transferring the rotation to the rotating shaft of the power generator by easily absorbing variation of torque with a large diameter plane pulley, tooth belt and small diameter tooth pulley. SOLUTION: This power generator is provided with a rotor, a stator, arranged at the external circumference of the rotor and an accelerator 10 for accelerating rotation of engine and then transferring rotation to a rotating shaft 2. The accelerator 10 is composed of a large-diameter plane pulley 6 fixed to an input shaft 11, a small diameter tooth pulley 7, a pair of tension pulleys 22, arranged in both sides of the large diameter plane pulley 6 and a tooth belt 25, are extended on these tension pulleys. The toot belt 25 is frictionally in contact with the large diameter plane pulley 6 at the plane surface 29, and the tooth surface 30 is geared with the small diameter tooth pulley 7 and a tension pulley 23.
