PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the assembling method of a control box, wherein when the control box provided with a case body and a cover which are flange-coupled with each other via a sealing material is assembled, the positioning of the sealing material to the flange on the case body can be performed easily and also the case body, the sealing material and the cover can be assembled satisfactorily into the control box. SOLUTION: In this assembling method of a control box, a jig 11 for inserting an sealing material is fitted in the sides of the internal peripheries of a flange 4 on a case body 1, and after the sealing material 3 is mounted on the flange 4 on the case body 1 using the jig 11 as a guide, a flange 6 under a cover 2 is mounted on the material 3 to couple both flanges 4 and 6 with each other, whereby the material 3 is provided in such a way that the material 3 can be positioned to the flange 4 on the case body 1 with good accuracy and with ease.
