<p>A network navigation system, including a database system and an access system. The database system stores records of network locations of a communications network for users of the network, the locations being selected by the users and assigned at least one attribute. The attribute represents a set of the stored locations. The access system communicates with a navigation interface of a user system, to access a set of the locations for sequential connection to the user system based on a selected attribute. The network navigation interface for a computer system of a user has a selection control for selecting a network location attribute; and a connection control selectable for sequentially directing the user system to connect to network locations having the attribute. The interface acts as a player and can be used to tour or navigate a set of bookmarks that form a web site tour for the Internet. Tours can also be created by extracting links from a web page.</p> |
