A valve drive has a cover hood with opposite fastener flanges with apertures for fasteners. The flanges are offset backwards relative to the outer surface of the valve drive hood (1a). The fasteners (8) are fitted flush into the flanges, and the flanges are covered by rails (2a,3a). The rails have integral holder bars (10), which are fitted detachable into apertures (9) in the flanges. A fastener is also fitted into a circular fastening surface (5) on the front of the hood, and this is covered by an individual plug (4).
