The invention relates to a particle filter (1) made of a metal foil (5) having juxtaposed channels (2, 3, 4) that can be cross-flown by a fluid (10). The invention also relates to a method for producing said filter. Each channel (2, 3, 4) has at least one inlet and one outlet. The particle filter also has a first channel (2) and a second channel (3, 4) adjacent to the latter, whereby the first channel (2) has an open input cross section on the first front face (12) of the particle filter (1) extending at least partially into the first channel (2). The first channel (2) has a closing element (13) pointing in the direction of a second front face (14) in relation to the input cross section (11). Said closing element (13) closes at least substantially the first channel (2) to the passage of the fluid (10), wherein at least one of the walls (7, 8) forming the first channel (2) has perforations (9) serving as filtering conduits (26) into the second channel (3, 4) while the second channel (3, 4) has an open output cross section (15) that corresponds at least approximately to the input cross section (11). The walls (6, 7, 8) of the first (2) and second (3, 4) channels are also made of metal foil (5). |
