According to the invention, participants in the method possess a personal identification K, a symmetrical cryptalgorithm Alg1 which comprises an individual cipher S and an asymmetrical cryptalgorithm Alg2 which comprises a public cipher Sö. A trust center which has a symmetrical cryptalgorithm Alg3, comprising a cipher Si and an autonomous module M which functions automatically, also form part of the method. Said autonomous module has a cipher bank for duplicating the participant cipher S. The asymmetrical cryptalgorithm Alg2, comprising the private cipher Si which belongs to the public cipher Sö and also the symmetrical cryptalgorithm Alg3, comprising the cipher Si, are connected in series with said cipher bank. Firstly, the participant cipher S and its identification K are incorporated into the cipher bank of the module in encrypted form, once the participant has identified himself or herself to the trust center. Each participant can subsequently send encrypted texts to every other participant, using the module M and can obtain a signature for texts he or she has written, using said module.
